My name is Bindi, Chief Dillyswag Maker. I live just outside of Adelaide metro in a small township called One Tree Hill. I’ve been a cub leader (Raksha) at One Tree Hill since 2010.

Dillyswag was born in January 2018, after almost a decade spent helping joeys and cubs choose their own fabrics and sew their own dillybags for camps. I thought why not make a bunch to sell? The name “Dillyswag” came from my youngest son, who said my dillybags had “swag”. I had to google that…!

Thanks mostly to the scouting network and word of mouth, customers from all over Australia started to request different fabrics to suit their interests. Fast forward to 2022, and I now have a gazillion fabrics to choose from - but only a little bit of each.  I combine my feature fabrics with a plain colour, and I can add embroidery to personalise it further.

I never imagined people could get so excited by a simple drawstring bag, but I guess anything that is custom made just for you is exciting - am I right?  Although Dillyswag has grown, it’s still just me and my trusty machines.  My interaction with each customer is personal and friendly, and I'll do my best to create something for you that you will love. I’m adding new items all the time - it's hard to turn off my creativity sometimes - so check back regularly.
